The group pitched the idea to Dobbs Ferry's new Adopt-a-Park program and by the end of August, it was accepted!

We identified two small pieces in the parcel to work on first: around the old bench, and midway up the stairs at the flat site.

Here's some of the first work done.

Weedwacking.
Pulling vines.
Cutting branches.
Bringing and spreading woodchips.
