"Start small" ... here's how!
Below is a note from Chet Kerr, a powerful champion of pollinators and encourager to anyone interested in helping them - regarding the Rivertowns Pollinator Forum. His note includes a link to download Native Plants for the Small Yard.
"I just wanted to say what a wonderful and inspiring event last evening was. Promoting and combining the stories of the multiple pollinator initiatives that are on-going within Dobbs Ferry was a wonderful way to build interest and excitement about pollinator-friendly gardening and to make clear that there are a variety of ways to make a difference. I especially liked the message offered by several speakers that folks can start small and still have an impact.

To that end, I want to send to all of you a really wonderful book by Kate Brandes, "Native Plants for the Small Yard", which has some great designs for creating pollinator-friendly gardens on a small scale. It is offers some simple but great designs for how to create a native plant garden in just one part of your yard."
